My memoir tells the story of a young girl from Cameroon whose journey led from Africa to UC Berkeley and ultimately to leadership roles at some of the world's most influential technology companies.
It is a story about purpose, faith, resilience, education, courage, and the people who help us along the way.
But ultimately, it asks a question I believe each of us must answer: What will you do with the opportunities, talents, and experiences you have been given?
The Girl Who Dreamed Beyond the Ocean
Through the story of a girl who dares to dream beyond what she can see, I want children to discover the values that shaped my own journey: purpose, resilience, grit, determination, STEM, excellence, and courage.
My hope is simple: that a child reading this story somewhere in California, Cameroon, or anywhere else in the world might close the book believing, "Maybe I can, too."
